I was hanging out with my friend and fellow make-up enthusiast, Gillian, the other day. We’ve known each other since first year university, and she is possibly my only friend who understands my obsession with make-up and having to read Temptalia every day. I asked to see her make-up bag, and got her to spill the beans on her sleepover must-haves.

In the beauty bag: Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion, Dior ’3 Couleurs’ Smoky Eye Palette Smoky Nude 571 (very beautiful nude palette, perfect for every day use), Shiseido ‘The Makeup’ Eyelash Curler (my personal favourite because it’s “flatter” than most curlers I’ve come across, and fits my eye shape better). The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof Mascara (Gillian’s favourite mascara), Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer (Gillian recommends this for summer, as it is non-creasing for her), Bobbi Brown Blush in Nectar, MAC ‘Mineralize’ Blush Warm Soul, Maybelline Eye Definist (an Asia exclusive, sadly), Quo Liner/Brow Brush, EcoTools Bamboo Brushes, and of course some L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (I like this hand cream a lot for night time, but it smells like baby powder, so some people might not like it).

We also had a lot of fun reading the Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual. :)
